Philosophy
Most PDF converters online are heavier than the PDFs they produce. Pages full of ads, mandatory sign-ups, nagging upsells, surprise watermarks, and files uploaded to servers you've never heard of. We thought the whole category deserved a quieter answer.
PDF Ninjai does one thing: convert a file to a PDF. It does it quickly, locally where possible, and silently. When it needs to send a file through the converter, it does — and nothing sticks around after.
What it is
- A small, signed Windows installer (~2 MB).
- A converter you open from your default browser after install.
- Supports the formats people actually use: Office, images, text, spreadsheets, slides.
- Free. No sign-up. No feature tiers.
What it isn't
- Not a browser. It opens your existing default browser.
- Not a cloud account. There's nothing to log into.
- Not a toolbar. Nothing gets injected into your other apps.
- Not a subscription. There is no paid tier to upsell.
Privacy posture
Files you convert pass through our converter so it can read the original format and write a PDF. We don't store them, we don't train anything on them, and we don't send them anywhere else. See Privacy for the full detail.
