Is PDF Ninjai free?
Yes. Free to download, free to install, free to use. There's no paid tier, no "pro" unlock, no upsell inside the app.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There is no sign-in. The installer registers your copy with a one-time ID so our converter knows the request is coming from a real install; you never see a login screen.
Where do my files go?
They stream through our converter so it can read the original format and produce a PDF. We don't retain the uploaded file after the PDF is delivered, and we don't use anything you upload for training or analytics. See Privacy.
Which formats are supported?
Office documents (DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX), spreadsheets (CSV), rich text and plain text (RTF, TXT, ODT, HTML, EML), images (JPG, PNG, BMP, TIFF, PSD, HEIC). More added as needed; tell us what you'd like.
Does it work offline?
The installer is a Windows app, but the actual conversion runs through a server so we can support dozens of formats without shipping heavy local engines. Your machine needs a connection while a file is converting; nothing else.
Does the installer bundle anything else?
No. No toolbar, no browser, no co-installed utilities. One small Windows app, signed, that opens the converter in the browser you already use.
How do I uninstall?
